As if I don't love Starbucks enough..

Don't tell me you haven't seen these cups. I first saw one about a year ago, started looking for one, was told they were "seasonal", and gave up. Fast forward to about two months ago, I found one (grande size) in the Target Starbucks. I bought it immediately and started using it religiously. Soon, I saddened a bit because I really wanted the venti size. A few weeks ago, my mom and I were in Vons, and the Starbucks there had one! Genius! Bought it and started using it every day with every drink.

Note: The bottom of the cup says "dishwasher safe".

I had washed the grande sized one about 975017087 times in the dishwasher. After having the venti a few days, I figured I should get it washed (other than in my sink), so I threw it in a load and thought nothing of it. Imagine my sadness when I went to get it out to fill it back up again, and the inside plastic liner of the cup had basically exploded. I died. I called my mom, we didn't have the receipt. What the heck was I to do?? I would have kept it, but the lid wouldn't screw on because of where the liner popped at. I was at a loss. So I thought..Maybe if I contact Starbucks and beg and plead, they will send me a new one?! So, I went to their website, pulled up a contact e-mail form, and basically told them what I just told you.

Let me tell you! I now love Starbucks even more! They don't send out merchandise, but are sending me a gift card so that I can purchase a new cup AND free drink coupons!!

Just thought I'd give you all another little reason to love Starbucks!
