Hello October!

Can I just be the first to say, October, you took FOREVER to get here! I can't believe it has been in the 80's or lower for about 5 straight days now. That is happiness. This month is going to be crazy, but oh, so much fun! I think we have something planned every weekend and lots of little things in between each week. I'm not one to love being busy, but everything planned is basically for Kaleb's enjoyment, so that will keep me going!

I went to Target today because I needed some things, but stopped by their oh-so-handy dollar section. I got Jack-O-Lantern lights for two fifty! I was really excited about that. I wanted to get some for our windows and was very happy when I found them that inexpensive. I also got some spiderwebs. I have been wanting them..I am not sure where to put them...but at least now I have them to figure it all out. They also had some fun stickers & books so I picked up a couple for Kaleb and Julius that I will give them on Halloween night.

I also got Kaleb a coloring book (non-Halloween related) and he went to town on it tonight! He says "colors!" when he wants his crayons and he makes Roland and I both sit with him and color. The other day he colored for thirty-five minutes! He is doing pretty good with keeping the crayon on the paper as well. At least I know they are washable if anything happens.

I also purchased Kaleb's first (2009) Christmas present tonight! It's just a coloring set for his stocking, but I had a coupon so I thought I should get it now rather than wait. I was so proud of myself. Hopefully in the coming weeks I can get a little bit more done as well. I pretty much know everything that I want to get so it is just a matter of getting it.

My mom's birthday is Sunday so tomorrow I am getting everything together for her birthday dinner at my house Sunday night. I have a few surprises I need to work on, so tomorrow will be very busy.

My DVR is calling my name..and I think I hear my bed chiming in as well!

"It's called thinking. Go with it."
