Nothing much to update on..

Well, nothing too exciting is going on around here right now. It's flippin' hot and I am tired of it! I am so ready for it to be winter, but fall will do. Anything other than this heat! I feel bad for Kaleb because I cannot (and when I say cannot, seriously, not happening!) stand to be outside. Today it cooled down a little (to what? like 95.) so we went out for a little bit. I guess it really made me think it's cooling down because I planned a little Zoo outing for us tomorrow. We are going to go at 9am so hopefully (but you know Fresno..) it won't be too hot by then. We are going with Kaleb's cousin, Julius (22 months) and his mommy, Liz. I am so happy Kaleb is getting older because Julius hasn't really wanted anything to do with him, but now that he is running around and acting more like a toddler, Julius has taken a liking to him. Roland and I went over to Zeb & Liz's the other night without Kaleb (he was at Gigi's) and Julius even asked me where Kaleb was! Major improvement! Ever since I was pregnant, we have been planning their friendship! Roland and Zeb are like brothers, and we figured the boys would be just as close, because we are always together. So hopefully tomorrow will just be another thing that will make them closer!

I dyed my hair today..I guess that works as news. I didn't want to deal with the blonde up keep at this point in life, so back to brunette I went. It turned out awesome. If we take pictures at the Zoo tomorrow (which I am sure I will..just don't know if I will be in them!) then I will have to post some.

My cake class is over and I am finding myself a little disappointed. I am thinking of making some cookies or cupcakes because I want to practice decorating those..but I think I will save that for a day that Buggie is at Gigi's house because I have a feeling it is going to take some time. Liz and I are thinking about taking the September Course 2, but that depends how much we improve over the next month. It really was fun though, and the teacher was super funny.

Oh! I know!
Kaleb is cutting his canines! He is getting all four (which can make for a very cranky toddler at times!) but THANK YOU JESUS they are his last four teeth!! For now..I will be so darn happy when this child has all his teeth! Oh....I forgot..he bit me today. Dangit..
I guess it's time to find the "Yo Gabba Gabba" episode with the song "Don't bite your friends" on my DVR. I know I have it..
You would think that would kind of be common sense. But not to a 16 month old. Good thing I told him to stop and he laughed in my face. So nice to have the upper hand as the parent. (sarcasm.)

Well, I guess that's it for now. Like I said, not too much going on around here. Kind of feels like the calm before the storm that begins on my birthday (September 8 for all those buying gifts..sarcasm again...kind of..).
