Kaleb's Second 4th of July...but first time seeing fireworks!

The 4th of July was a success!! Bug tends to be a little scared of loud noises and things that are different. He sure did love the fireworks though. He preferred the ones that didn't make a lot of noise..but all were accepted.

Daddy had to work, so for the day we went to my parents, GiGi & Grandpa's house. We barbecued hamburgers and relaxed all day, waiting for the dark so we could do our fireworks. Bug had to take a little cat nap at about eight o' clock so he could make it through.

My Uncle Don and Grandma (Kaleb's great Uncle and Great Grandma) came over just in time, we woke up Buggie & started the fireworks. After we finished up, we ate yummy watermelon (at ten o' clock at night!) and then it was time for Buggie to go to bed.

It was a quiet day, but a nice one. I am so glad Kaleb liked the fireworks. It was a great "mommy moment".
