It's funny, now that we have our second child, how things change. Funny because, I'm pretty sure other than doctors appointments and to the park (after he was a month old), we didn't take Kaleb out of the house for about the first three months. He didn't go to a restaurant until he was six months old, and after that, not until he was two. Why is this funny, you ask? Gracie will be four weeks old on Thursday. When she was five days old, she went to the park. She has already been there a handful of times, been to the Zoo, and today she went to a restaurant for the second time.
I can't decide if we are different because we have Kaleb, and we have to get him out, so we have no choice. Or, if it's because she is such a different baby. Now that I know what it's like to have a "good" baby, I feel so bad for Kaleb to having to go through all that he did. He seriously had to have been so miserable. A little background, if you don't know. Kaleb had a milk allergy and acid reflux that wasn't diagnosed until he was six weeks old and had been on cows milk formula for three weeks. He also had colic...bad. Anyways, it's really nice to have a baby that just sleeps, eats and poops. It's so awesome because we can give Kaleb so much more attention than we were anticipating.
