It's Friday! Woo-hoo! Definitely not the start to my weekend..but it's our hump-day! We are lucky enough to get a "date day" every Tuesday, where my mom takes Kaleb in the morning and he gets picked up Wednesday morning. Well, this past week she was preparing for retreat, so she couldn't take him. He has been a handful because non-stop he is asking to go to "Gi's house". Just gotta get through the weekend, and he can have his date back this Tuesday, and hopefully snap out of the funk he is in!
Happy Friday to all those who really do get a normal weekend!
1. Do you play a musical instrument?
No, never have, and probably never will. The only thing I have ever been interested in is the guitar or the piano.
2. What is your pet peeve while driving?
I really don't like when people don't use their signal. It could cause a lot less mix-up! It's also a really great way to communicate with the other drivers. For example: If you're trying to get over, and cursing that person that won't let you over, check your signal. If it isn't on, they don't know you're trying to get over!
3. Would you rather have a housekeeper or unlimited spa services?
Spa services for sure! If I was that relaxed, I'd get the housework done!
4. Is there a song that you can hear that will take you right back to a moment?
"I'll Be There for You" by Bon Jovi. It takes me back to my Wedding reception, and I remember it like it was yesterday. That is mine and Roland's "song", but we thought it was too fast to use as our "First Dance". We danced to "Amazed" by Lone Star, just to get a song picked out, and at the end of the night, the last song played was "I'll Be There for You". We were the only people on the dance floor and it was something I'll always remember.
5. What song best represents your life right now?
"Sounds Like Life to Me" by Darryl Worley. It's all about stuff life throws at us, and we complain, but really, that's what life is all about.
