I had my first appointment earlier this week for BabyLove. I have been anticipating this since I scheduled it several weeks ago. I just needed to hear the heartbeat and know that everything was okay. Sure, I feel like crap, so I "knew" everything was doing good in there, but I still needed it. I also got the nausea medicine that they wouldn't give me with Kaleb until I was out of the first trimester. I guess they figure I know what I am talking about this time when it comes to how crappy I felt. The meds seem to be helping, which is nice because I don't remember them helping much with Kaleb. My official due date is September 1, 2010, but I will more than likely end up with a repeat cesarean, so BabyLove will probably be an August baby. Now the Perry/Muniz family Birthday madness will start in August instead of with mine in September. Goodness! Better start buying presents now!
There is a lot going on in the world right now, especially with the Haiti earthquake. It was nice to hear and see our baby and know that good things happen. This baby has been longed for, and the amount of joy it has already brought is remarkable. I pray for all the people in Haiti, but especially the pregnant mothers and children. I pray that they find the help they need for their health and well-being.
