Pumpkin Pickin' Day

This morning I picked up Buggie from spending two nights at my mom's house. He was so happy to see Daddy (and I guess a little thrilled to see Mom..) and we decided today was Pumpkin Pickin' Day! We couldn't really decide which patch we wanted to go to, but we ended up at the Pumpkin King on Shaw and Blackstone. Oooh goodness, they had pony rides! Kaleb went nuts, and had to ride one before he would even look at a pumpkin! He did really good again today and wanted to ride about a million more times..but we had serious business to get done!

Daddy decided that him and Kaleb could pick out a big pumpkin together and they would carve it. I just couldn't make a decision to save my life. I wanted a Cinderella pumpkin...and then I wanted a regular pumpkin....and then I decided to get three little pumpkins, and I am very happy with my choice. I am not going to carve mine. I think I am going to playing with some gold paint with them! I might work on that tonight after Kaleb goes to bed. The boys will probably get their pumpkin carved next week sometime because they don't want it to go bad before Halloween. Kaleb really had a blast and was running all over the place. We tried to leave after we paid for our pumpkins..but ended up just putting them in the car and playing for another half hour.

I finally decided that we would for sure be going to Zoo Boo this year and I bought our tickets for Friday night..the day after tomorrow! I am very excited, and so is Daddy. I got Kaleb's costume washed and I think I will run the iron over it too. I haven't decided if I am going to wear my witch hat or my cat ears. I want to wear something so hopefully Kaleb doesn't get scared from all the costumes.

I can't believe Halloween is next week. I am so excited for the holidays. I am going to host Thanksgiving this year. I already found my centerpeice for the table and I can't wait to work on that. I am hoping that the Fall brings lots of good things to our family.

Here are a few pictures from today. Check back Friday night for ZooBoo pics!

"When witches go riding, and black cats are seen, the moon laughs and whispers, ‘tis near Halloween."
