Kaleb says Dad-deee

Omg. Cutest thing ever! Kaleb said Daddy! It's his first two syllable word so that also makes it pretty exciting! He has such the cutest little raspy voice..just like his mama! It took a little coercing to get it on video, so about the one minute mark is where he says it three times really good.

Kaleb is going to be sixteen months a week from tomorrow, and I swear, it was just yesterday...Well, you know what everyone says. It's crazy because when they are born you are told a million times to enjoy it, because it goes so fast. It really does! I actually think that so far (which I know this will probably change a million times!) this is my favorite age. The only thing that would be better is if he was talking. But he is so much fun, and starting to be able to play on his own, and help me with things, and he learns so much every day. That daddy stuff he just pulled right out of a hat! There was nothing leading up to it that day. All of the sudden he was saying Daddy.

Well tomorrow night I have my cake decorating class again, and from the practicing that occurred tonight....it should be interesting! We are going to make clowns out of frosting to sit on our cake. Liz and I practiced our flowers tonight, and once again, saved it until last when our frosting was already warm, and we couldn't get them to stand up right. But we were getting the shape a lot better than last week (no more artichokes!) so that's improvement! We did get all of our frostings colored and ready for class tomorrow, and that was our homework, so were good on that. Well, it's late and I am exhausted from cake practicing and what not. Hopefully tomorrow's class goes well and I can be proud enough to post some pictures!
