I like to make lists..

More like making a note to remind myself to get something done.  I like to get it done by a certain day, and if that day approaches and it isn't done, I freak out a little bit.  I normally work on these little side notes at the end of the month...like today.

For March it was to handle some things with our health insurance, which recently was changed to a new carrier.  I also needed to get Kaleb set up with a new Pediatrician, and set him an appointment.  It took weeks of research and talking to a lot of parents, but I finally got it done.  We went with Dr. Laura Schilling at Northwest Medical Group.  We are very excited to have a doctor and Urgent Care now five minutes from our home, versus thirty minutes.  We are also excited because I was able to find a female.  Kaleb has never been fond of older men, no clue why, but his doctor at Peachwood was no exception.  He would scream the whole time.  We are hoping by changing to a female, that he will feel more comfortable.  Glad I can check that off my list.

So today being the last day of March, I opened up my calendar for April.  My lists so far consists of 3 things.  I want to register for the new baby and purchase Kaleb's toddler bed.  The last one is a doozie..I want to work on potty training.

For about a month and a half now (I think) we have had him in his convertible crib with a side rail.  It has gone well, but we want to use that crib for the new baby.  I found a great bed for a great price, and want to get that purchased so we can get him in that and comfortable.  I am thinking since it has rails on the side sort of how he has the rail on his crib, that it will go smoothly.  Here's hoping!

Registering for the new baby should be easy.  We aren't finding out the gender, and I know what's a "need" and a "want" this time around, so I just need to devote an afternoon to getting it done.

Ah, and lastly, potty training.  We have somewhat started here and there.  He has gone in the potty once, and he tries every couple of days.  I want to get him into some big boy undies and see how he does.  He wore pull-ups one day at my mom's house, and I'm pretty sure he just thinks are a different kind of diaper.  After this coming week we shouldn't be too busy, so hopefully I can attack it.  If I can just get him understanding why he should do it more, I will be happy.

Three things sounds pretty good for one month.  I am hoping I get it all done, and hopefully I can add some other small things.  Here's to getting it all done!
