with this economy, a lot of the stores are offering deals that you get in the store, and even some deals even better than in store! for instance, on monday, i decided i needed to go to old navy. i figured they would probably be out of a lot because of the black friday shoppers. so i went to their website . come to find out, they were having a monday special and in the end i got everything that i purchased on sale, free shipping AND twenty percent off. so i ended up paying my total with less than the tax added. genius! it also helps that i get emails from the stores that i love shopping at. another great deal i got was from things remembered. we decided last year that we wanted to start a tradition giving kaleb an ornament from there every year. well i shopped on black friday and got an ornament on sale $14 off it's regular price and free shipping. my last push is for walgreens. i knew that i wanted to make my dad a calendar for christmas with photos of kaleb. i searched around, and walgreens had the best price. a twelve month desk calendar for $9.99! you get to choose all the backgrounds and each month can have up to 3 photos! they are also having a promotion through this saturday so i ended up getting another gift and 25% off my order!
we only have a couple more christmas presents to get, but unfortunately, they aren't really things i can take care of online. i guess i'll have to brave the holiday shopping after all!
